What is marketing ?

Marking Types
Hand Written
Using a pen to write information by hand is the simplest and most inexpensive method. This method is effective when the number of products manufactured is small. However, because people write the information, there is the possibility that they will make mistakes.
Stamping
Stamping can be divided into two major categories: hand pressing and machine pressing. If too much ink adheres to the surface or if the stamping pressure is too strong, the characters will be smudged. On the other hand, if too little ink adheres to the surface or if the stamping pressure is too weak, the characters will be faint. Consequently, it is difficult to continuously mark clean characters. This method is not suited to marking on curved surfaces or soft objects. The characters are not changed automatically, so work is required when performing calendar or counter marking.
Labeling
A printer or similar device is used to print the labels before they are affixed to the products, so it is possible to acquire clean marking. However, the more products there are, the greater the cost of the labels for these products. Also, time and effort must be spent to manage the inventory of labels. Different from direct marking on products, the major problem is missing characters due to labels peeling off.
Engraving
Because the surface of the product is dented, it is possible to mark the product in a way that the information does not fade. On the other hand, it is difficult to change the marked details. Also, because the product is subjected to impacts, this method is not suited to applications in which accuracy is required.
As a conclusion, the marketing concept is the philosophy where each and every firms should analyze the needs of their customers and makes good decisions in order to satisfy their needs. This also can enhance a good relationship between the customers.
